As an occupational therapist at Kaiser-Permanente in Southern California I had the opportunity to develop and teach educational programs to several hundred polio survivors over a period of several years. Much of the material was gleaned from solutions I applied in my own life, and I also learned a great deal from participants in the classes.
Each Month there will be a new topic relating to conserving your energy, simplifying your work, prtecting your joints, or modifying your surroundings - anything which might help to lessen the symptoms of pain and fatigue."
